Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to information when you visit allkittiesgotoheaven.org. The short version: this website has no forms, no accounts, and no cookies of its own, and it collects nothing from you directly. The one place information is collected is the donation form, and that form belongs to Zeffy.

Who this is

All Kitties Go To Heaven is a cat rescue effort in Lake County, California. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The whole website is one public page plus this policy and the Terms of Use.

The way to reach a person is [email protected]. That is the same address printed on the home page, and it is the address used for everything in this policy.

What this website collects from you: nothing

Stated plainly, because it is unusual enough to be worth stating:

• There is no contact form, no signup form, no comment box, and no search box. There is no form of any kind on this site.
• There are no accounts, no logins, and no passwords.
• The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
• There is no advertising and no advertising tracker placed by this site.

Everything below describes information handled by other companies whose services this page uses, or by the rescue after you choose to write or to give.

Donations go to Zeffy, not to this website

The home page has a donation form embedded from Zeffy. Everything you type into that form, including your name, email address, mailing address, and payment details, goes to Zeffy and to the payment companies Zeffy uses. It does not pass through this website. This website never sees, handles, or stores card details, and it never will.

Zeffy also loads its own services inside that form. When this was checked on 2026-07-27, the donation form loaded payment services (Stripe and PayPal), a bot-protection service (hCaptcha), and a set of analytics and advertising services that Zeffy runs for itself, including HubSpot, Amplitude, Microsoft Clarity, Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Bing. Some of those can follow activity across other websites. Those are Zeffy’s choices inside Zeffy’s form, not ours, and Zeffy can change them without telling us. If you want to know what they do with what they collect, read Zeffy’s own privacy policy before you give.

After a gift is made, the rescue can see what Zeffy passes along: usually a name, an email address, a mailing address, and the amount. That is used to thank you, to keep the rescue’s own records straight, and to answer you if you write. It is not sold, not rented, and not traded. It never has been.

Cookies

This site sets none. Zeffy’s donation form and the services inside it do set cookies, on their own web addresses rather than on this one. When this was checked on 2026-07-27, loading the home page left exactly one cookie, placed by hCaptcha for bot protection.

If you would rather not have those, you can block third-party cookies in your browser, or simply not open the donation form. The rest of the page reads perfectly well either way. There is no cookie banner on this site because this site has no cookies to ask you about.

Counting visits

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare Web Analytics is switched on for it. That counts page views. Cloudflare states that it does this without cookies and without fingerprinting visitors. It tells the rescue how many people looked at the page, not who they were.

Cloudflare also keeps ordinary server logs, the way every web host does. Those record things like an IP address, a timestamp, and which file was requested. The rescue does not use those logs to build any profile of you, and has no tool for doing so.

Fonts

The headline typeface on this site is loaded from Google Fonts. That means Google’s servers receive your IP address and basic browser information at the moment the font loads. Nothing else is sent to Google by this site.

Writing to the rescue

The email addresses on the site are plain links that open your own email program. Nothing is submitted through this website when you use one. If you do write, your message and your email address arrive in the rescue’s ProtonMail inbox and stay there for as long as they are useful for answering you and keeping track of the conversation.

The share button

Near the bottom of the home page there is a button that either opens your device’s own share sheet or copies the page address to your clipboard. Both of those run entirely on your device. Nothing is sent back to the rescue, and no record of it is kept anywhere.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

This website does not follow you across other websites, so there is nothing here for those signals to switch off. To be exact rather than reassuring: this site does not change its behaviour when your browser sends a Do Not Track or a Global Privacy Control signal, because there is no tracking behaviour here to change. The third-party services loaded inside Zeffy’s donation form answer those signals according to their own policies, which the rescue does not control.

The complete list of others who may see something

• Cloudflare hosts the site, serves every page, keeps server logs, and runs the page-view count.
• Google Fonts serves the headline typeface, and receives your IP address when it does.
• Zeffy runs the donation form, and loads its own payment, security, analytics, and advertising services inside it.
• Proton runs the email inbox, if you choose to write.

That is the whole list. If a new service is ever added to this site, this page will say so.

California, and what you can ask for

The rescue operates in California and people give from all over the country, so it is worth being straight about which rules bite. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, sets obligations for for-profit businesses above certain size thresholds, measured by revenue, by how many consumers’ information they handle, or by how much of their income comes from selling personal information. A nonprofit cat rescue is not one of those businesses, and it is nowhere near any of those thresholds either, so that law does not place those obligations on it. That is a statement about size, and it is not offered as a reason to be careless.

What follows is what you can actually ask for. It does not depend on where you live and it does not depend on any threshold:

• Ask what information about you the rescue is holding.
• Ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong.
• Ask for it to be deleted, except where a donation record has to be kept for the rescue’s accounting.
• Ask to stop hearing from the rescue.

Write to [email protected] and say which one you want. A person reads it and replies. Donation records that live inside Zeffy’s own system also fall under Zeffy’s process, so a request may need to go to them as well, and we will point you there if so.

The rescue does not sell personal information and does not share it for anyone else’s advertising. It never has. There is no opt-out link on this site because there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect information about anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent information to the rescue, write to the address above and it will be deleted.

Security, honestly stated

The site is served over HTTPS. Because it holds no accounts and stores no visitor data of its own, there is no store of your information here to be broken into. The information that does exist lives with Zeffy and with Proton, under their security, not ours.

Changes to this policy

If any of this changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it and the new version replaces this one here. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date on this page is the record. It is worth a look before you give if it has been a while.
